SERBIAN CENTER FOR ENERGY EFFICIENCY LABORATORY IS OPENED FOR ALL RESEARCHERS WHO BELIEVE THAT THE EXISTING KNOWLEDGE CAN BE IMPROVED!

Reconstruction of Serbian Center for Energy Efficiency was carried out with the help of our friends and sponsors, so that everyone who believes that SERBIA CAN BE ENERGY EFFICIENT can have adequate modern conditions for work.

Underfloor heating, wall heating and cooling and ceiling cooling systems are integrated in the laboratory .

With that adaptation, instalation of surface heating and cooling system, the best solution for reaching the ideal climate in room throughout the year is achieved.

Fan coil units for dehumidification, tanks for storing hot/cold water, tanks for domestic hot water, as well as following measurement devices are installed in this system.

Our laboratory is equipped with system for remote access, monitoring, control and adjustment of all devices.

All measuring devices in the heating substation are, through the regulator and communication units, linked to a central control unit Universum.

Measuring devices

Link between energy source and consumers is made throug pipelines and measuring devices which offers us usefull information for monitoring, suprevising and controling of all system.

Installed calorimeters, manufacturer Techem, on the energy sources have ability to work in both modes, in heating and cooling mode. They consist of a flow meter, two temperature sensors which measure the difference in temperature of the water supply and return branch, and computer units, which on the basis of these parameters define the amount of delivered heat energy by appropriate energy source.

Three-way mixing valve, manufacturer IMI, have the role of mixing water coming from energy sources (heat pump or boiler) with water from the feedback branches, which is at a lower temperature, in order to get desired temperature. Motorized and combined with digital temperature control allows users supply hot water depending on the required load.

Balancing valves, manufacturer IMI, with a high hydraulic performance in heating and cooling systems and process water allow presetting, precision balancing and measurement.

A circulating pump, manufacturer WILO, with motor and automatic power adjustment is equipped with a module for communication and remote control. Thanks to technology development is characterized by the highest efficiency. It is suitable for all heating and cooling systems, regardless of ambient temperature.

Room and external sensors, manufacturer Harreither, allowing precise control of temperature and humidity in all rooms.

Motorized valve, manufacturer IMI, allows remote control operation of all fan-coil units, that automatically turn on and off the fan-coil unit when specified temperature and humidity are achieved.

Source of energy for surface heating and cooling

Energy sources whigh are used in our Centre are heat pump air/water and biomass boiler.

Inverter heat pump air/water, power 12 kW, manufacturer Panasonic, characterized by high efficiency and provides excellent comfort and performance in any weather conditions. Produced in the form of a split system where the external and internal units are separated.

Inverterska toplotna pumpa

Pellet boiler Compact 20.1, manufacturer Radijator Kraljevo, contains 2 tube heat exchangers, one for the pellet boiler and the other for solar heating. The capacity is 800 liters.
